Friends enjoying Forest City's changing leaves :)
Hola!!!!
I wanted to write this entry specifically for my students, especially those from Beachwood. I hope the fall season is treating you well, that all is going good for you at school and home. I´m busy teaching preterite and imperfect again but this time at Solon High School. But not too busy to think about doing an open mic night some time soon at the Phoenix :) Spanish Literature graduate school applications are on the top of my priority list right now. University of Arizona, Arizona State, University of New Mexico, University of Texas at Austin and Cleveland State are starting to get some of my application materials. The schools have a southwest theme because I want to be in an area where 40% of the population speaks Spanish and where the Latino culture has heavily influenced the area. So, I´m thinking of doing an open mic in February, after my teaching job at Solon High School and before I head out to Mexico for a refresher course in Spanish fluency. Hope to see some of you out there!
Until next time, enjoy the changing of the seasons!
Buena Suerte!
